12-18 Radstock Street

Battersea, London

Banda’s recently completed new build development 12- 18 Radstock Street was winner of The Sunday Times British Home Award for ‘Best Apartment Development’ 2017 . The site is situated in the heart of Battersea’s Creative District with the studios of iconic designers Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood housed in neighbouring properties and the Royal College of Art just around the corner.

Designed by Claridge Architects, a practice known for their modern minimalist architecture, the scheme  features two buildings each sporting a sleek limestone clad exterior. These house a total of eight units ranging from 1,700sq.ft. to 4,100sq.ft. complete with generous ceiling heights and wrap-around terracing. Interior designers Studio Ashby and Banda Design Studio have created interiors  finished to the very highest specification.

With a nod to the development’s artisanal surroundings, Banda commissioned Shang-Yu Danny Lee, an MA textiles graduate from the RCA, to create a bespoke tapestry which hangs in the main lobby. This work celebrates the area’s creative focus and will reflect the unique nature of this exciting development.
