Part Three: Denmark’s Rising Stars

Our final instalment of this series presents award-winning Danish designer, Louise Campbell.

Native to Copenhagen, Louise is the daughter to a Danish mother and British Father.  She chose to be educated in both countries, and graduated from London’s College of Furniture in 1992 and from Denmark’s Design School in 1995. Louise launched her eponymous studio a year after in 1996.

Louise focuses on the mediums of furniture and lighting. In addition to her own projects, she was hired to work alongside Denmark’s esteemed lighting designer Louis Poulson, which has resulted in a collaboration lasting 8 years. However, recent commissions from the Royal Copenhagen and Denmark’s Ministry of Culture have broadened her scope to include product and interior design.
